Reply:Neither is very good. But the first is by far more plausible as an explaination of things, because it begins with choice, which does not have to have a cause. The second could only happen because something else caused it to happen. Therefore there can never be an explaination of the beginning of the uninverse that only uses the physical laws.

In other words, where'd that star come from at the beginning of option 2? Where'd any matter come from?

PLEASE HELP ME does anybody get what this dream means?

Last night i had this dream that played in my head over and over and over again. I dreamt that i was back in my old house, and through the window this guy that i liked was in my garden. I'd had a huge crush on him in college, and i'd kind of assumed he liked me too because he could never take his eyes of me. Anyway he's in my garden and there's this whole parade of really pretty girls in the centre dancing around in the middle, but he completely ignores them. He keeps coming to my window and playing basketball with me through the window. We pass, catch, pass catch, pass catch. Instead of being smiley and excited, he looks kind of serious. Then i look over and there's a couch in the far corner of my garden, he's sitting on it. This is where it gets real interesting. There's a guy that i've liked for three years in university, he's wearing this guys glasses, and the whole basketball thing well i've got a guy friend that i had the biggest crush on and he's obsessed with basketball.

PLEASE HELP ME does anybody get what this dream means?
mayb it means that the basketball playr is ure true love call him or tex him just to say hi,ove n peace b with u.
Reply:i think it means that you really haven't gotten over any of these guys... if you still talk to any of them you should maybe spend some time with them to see if you wanted to date one. otherwise it could just be random, but usually your subconscious tries to tell you things in your dreams

Question and Advice about Domestic Violence in the UK, had enough of my babies father, when we have a?

disagreement or row he always uses his fist etc there had been various incidences in the past, on Wednesday he was jealous, broke my garden gate, stormed in shouting at me, whacked and thumped me across the face a few times, threatened with his fist haninng over to smash me right in the centre of my face.





Then to top it off before I was finally able to escape with my baby, he spat in my face.





I have called the police, they still havent arressted him as he keeps calling me.





I am taking this to court, but what can I expect, will they make out that I encourage him then guilty, will he get off, what are the typical expectations in a British Court of Law in concern of my case?

I don't live in the UK but here in the US you have to show up at the hospital with obvious injuries to get noticed. It is still a man's world, honey. Make a police report in front of hospital witnesses and they should arrest him. How long they will keep him is another matter altogether. Take it to court and by all means do not return to your baby's father, EVER!. What he has done he will do again and your baby will grow up to learn violence too if s/he is around it. Here he would be expected to pay you child support and because of your having reported the abuse, he would not get to share custody of the child but would be required to have only supervised visitation (which men like that usually don't bother with) Good luck.

Strange heartbeat?

earlier tonight my 2 year old son tripped in the garden and banged his head, the bump was really big and kept swelling so i took him to the local nhs walk in centre. while he was being checked over the nurse said he has a "strange heartbeat" because after 20 beats it does a double beat. she said it was nothing to worry about but to take him to the docs on tuesday to be checked over there. however this is worrying me because my partner had a heart attack just over a year ago at a young age and now im thinking that my son will be heading down the same road! can any-one give me any info on irregular heartbeats in toddlers?

My sister has an iregular heart beat she was very young only 5 or 6 but in children it is quiet normal and they grow out of it.

she did it have it checked out as a precaution.

Reply:ok, i dont know if its the same thing, but my son had a heart murmur when he was like 6 months and the doctor said that it was because there were 2 arteries in his heart that we positined at a 90 degree angle and when he gets older they will straighen up and things will be ok.

so Im thinking maybe your son had the same thing. and lots of children get it (and they grow out of it)

i suggest you keep up with the check-ups with his heart (its always better to be safe then sorry) Im sure hes fine and the fact that your parnter had a heart attack at a young age (unless its heart disease) wont come into play with this situation.

they are quite dangorous they give you a random heart beat this can disrupt the body natural flow and can be quite dangorous get him checked out asap

Reply:He might just have an irregular heartbeat. It's not caused by a bump to the head, but it will get worse as he gets older. An irregular heartbeat is nothing to worry about because I have one and it's actually a slight heart murmer. It won't stop him from doing anything, it's just when the upper chambers of the heart don't beat in sync with the lower chambers and one day it might be a problem, but I've been assured that it wont cause any problems because the heart is still working just as well as any other heart, it's just a little confused. Eventually his heart might go from one beat every 20 beats to one beat ever 5 beats like mine. It's a pretty common problem, so don't worry, but keep an eye on him and keep up with doctors.

Reply:my son had a heart defect and thats about what they said to me, it sounded different and I needed to follow up with a heart Dr. he has sugery at age 2 about 8 mons after they found out. It went real well. He was up running again in a day or two.

Its christmas is she cruel???

my best friend has her own house with her boyfriend and they have a 4 month old baby, they have a really well behaved labrador.





she told me the other night they are getting rid of the dog and taking him to a rescue centre, i asked why she said coz they baby is picking up toys and putting them in his mouth and the toys are covered in dog hair,





all i could think is what a poor excuse its like 3 and a half weeks till xmas and they are putting ther dog in a rescue centre, ther dog is used to having his own back garden and sleeping under his table on his bed nice and warm next to the radiator, now he is going to be wondering what he has done wrong and will be locked in a cage for christmas all sad and lonely,





i cant help but think that that is really cruel and a rubbish excuse, what do you think? and think about it babies have grown up with dogs around them there whole life and become best friends for kids

omg i just hate people like them ,yes they are being cruel.Its unbelievable just because they have had a child . Its a poor excuse people like them make me sick .That poor dog they should be giving the dog extra attention now the baby's just arrived .god that's made me so angry .
Reply:Yes, they should get rid of the dog if they are not going to be responsible enough to keep the place clean for their baby.





Now is a good time to get rid of the dog, because it would be adopted by the time Christmas rolls around since dogs are a big gift.





The dog itself will be sad, until it is adopted. It will then love and adore its new owners.

I have a 9 yr. old yellow Lab, she is the best friend I could ever have and extremely well behaved in the house and Yes, she sheds, as do all Labs....and it's hard to control, and requires alot of cleaning and I still don't get all the hair cleaned up. But I would NEVER, EVER just kick her out because of that....it's been frustrating at times, but once they settle into your family life......they are part of the family!!





Your Friend, (pardon me) is thoughtless......and should have never even been allowed to have a pet if that is all they think of.......


Maybe you could help find a home for the Lab....(or take the sweet doggie to your home?)

Reply:That's very terrible--it's quite a poor exuse to get rid of a dog. Maybe talk to them and try to make the re-consider their descision. Explain to them how horrible it is to get rid of their dog just because of a little hair-and that there are solutions. Maybe suggest that they keep their child away from him?





Or you could also try to find another home for the dog. Im sure other people would love to own a beautiful labrador. Maybe one of your family members, or your other friends?

But honestly would you want her to keep the dog and be mean to it or neglect it?





If it is going to a rescue they will find a good home for it, someone who will love the dog and take good care of it.





It is better if she gives the dog up that way it will find a better home.
