i was getting a childrens python until i found out that they grow
about 1metre long!

anyways , so umm i kinda need a species of snake that is small , no longer than 1foot long when full grown!
any suggestions?

i dont really know of any snake species that can fit that but if you get a 20 gallon long that can hold a cornsnake for its whole life the cage is around 50 and the snakes about 30+ depending on morphs they are really easy to care for and you really dont need to do anything and they eill be ok. the 17 gallon will last it a while tho until you can get a bigger tank. but if you cant get a tank you could go with a lepord gecko they are pretty nice and dont require much care
